Accessibility
SITEKEEPER is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Text meets a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1.
- Colour never carries meaning alone: ratings always show their number and word, and the two worst ratings are hatched on maps and pictures.
- You can zoom to 400% and the pages reflow.
- Controls are at least 24 by 24 pixels.
- Motion is kept to a minimum and stops if your system asks for reduced motion.
- Aerial imagery is described in text, and outlines, areas and ratings are also given in tables.
Known limits
- Maps and aerial imagery are visual. The figures they show are also given as text and tables.
- PDF reports are not yet tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will send the content in another format.
- Drawing an outline on the map needs a pointer; you can paste coordinates instead.
