SITEKEEPER

How it works

  1. 1. Outline your lots

Add each site by address or by drawing it. We outline the paved area and leave out islands and buildings, then compute the area in square metres, hectares, acres and square feet.

  2. 2. Desktop screening

An analyst compares the provincial aerial imagery from 2018 and 2023 for each lot, marks visible features such as patches, potholes, cracking, ponding and faded markings, and assigns a Screening Condition Rating from 1 to 5. This is a screening, not an ASTM D6433 Pavement Condition Index.

  3. 3. Field assessment where it matters

Lots with high survey priority get a field visit. Inspectors photograph sample units, record distresses by type and severity, and an engineer reviews and signs off each one.

  4. 4. Reports and quotes

You receive a report per site and a portfolio summary, with imagery, outlines, ratings, priorities, method, limitations and data sources, plus a quote.

About the imagery

Screening uses the South Central Ontario Orthophotography Project (SCOOP) 2023 and 2018 imagery from Geospatial Ontario, at 16 cm per pixel, under the Open Government Licence – Ontario. Features smaller than about half a metre are not reliably visible at that resolution, which is why we confirm on site.
